Who Can Become a Member?
Any soldier, sailor or airman who has previously served in 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, RCA (The Loyal Company) and completed a trades qualification (TQ1 or QL3) , is eligible to be a member.
You must complete the application, and after review by the Association membership committee, you
will be accepted as a member of the Association. You will remain a member of the association as a privilege so long as you remain in good standing.
Value to the Member
- Get in touch with old friends and stay in touch
- Meet old friends at Association or Regimental events and re-connect
- Have a connection with the Regiment – keep abreast of what the Regiment is doing
- Be registered as a former serving member of the oldest Artillery Regiment in Canada.
- Receive an electronic newsletter a couple times per year on news with our Veterans group and the Regiment.
Fees
There are no fees to become a member, We want all past serving soldiers to join our group, regardless of your financial status or ability to pay a membership fee. So, membership is free!
We will be holding events a couple times per year, which will likely involve food and drink, or other forms of social engagement, as the members wish. This will cost money. So, for members who are willing to, and can contribute, we are inviting members to donate $20 per year into the event fund. All donations will be used exclusively for events for the members on full membership invitations. The donations received will be available to ALL members for planned events that will be open to all.
